Motiv nadčasovosti – něčeho co v sobě nechává prolínat minulost, současnost, ale i budoucnost – propojuje dvojici cyklů malíře Patrika Hábla, které jsou představeny v publikaci Immortāles - Očima času. Cyklus Tváře zemřelých a mizejících osobností, stejně jako soubor maleb reinterpretujících ikonická díla Starých mistrů, v sobě nese hluboký osobní prožitek a pro autora jsou tématem, které v malbě znovuobjevuje a zkoumá opakovaně – v případě reinterpretací maleb Starých mistrů už po více než tři dekády.
Publikace spojuje autorův osobní pohled s odbornými reflexemi kunsthistoriků. Texty Patrika Hábla, Lucie Němečkové, Jany Peroutkové otevírají dílo v jeho vizuálním, historickém i symbolickém kontextu.

The motif of timelessness - something that allows the past, the present, the future to merge - is what connects the two cycles by painter Patrik Hábl, now presented jointly in the publication Immortáles - Through the Eyes of Time. The cycle Faces of the Dead and Disappearing, along with the series of paintings reinterpreting the iconic works of the Old Masters, bear within themselves a deep personal experience and, for their author, form a theme that he continually rediscovers and re-investigates - in the case of his Old Master reinterpretations, for over thirty years. 
The current publication combines the artist s personal view with critical reflections from professional art historians. These texts by Patrik Hábl, Lucie Němečková and Jana Peroutková reveal this oeuvre in its full visual, historical, and symbolic context.
